It is always so nice to watch up and coming brands explode onto the market. I got to try out some of Equisport’s new range.
First of all the base layer………..
I was really impressed when this arrived. The material has a slightly thicker/dense feel to it which is designed to keep you warm in the colder months. The top also comes with mesh material in the armpit area which allows room to breathe once you start moving around. (not sure about you but that is a godsend for the base layers! No one wants us to be getting stinky now!) Something that is not always thought about from an equestrian outfit.
It is a decent length too, both in the arms and the body. I hate shorter tops and am forever pulling them down so this was a great feature for me too!
I love the gold logo on the corner, plus the 1/4 zip is a nice finishing touch.
The T-Shirt
Perfect for the warmer months, this stretchy but lighter weight t-shirt is a great hit this summer. The top is flattering and the pretty gold logo sits centrally this time. Luckily, the mesh material is surrounding the underarms which helps you to breathe when you get hot!
The Light Sport Breeches
I was super excited to receive these! They really do have a sporty feel to them which is great when going from the shops to the yard! The white piping that runs horizontally along the back picks up the white logo strip on the front leg really well. There is even a cute gold logo detail on the back too. I am a fan of the silicone piping, its light but effective. I do like a silicone seat to help you stick in the saddle, these come with a full seat of silicone. It also comes with a front pocket that will easily fit an I-phone or similar inside. There is mesh material running from the bottom of the ankle to allow you comfort with socks and boots when riding. The great thing about these breeches are that they work all year round. They are suitable for all seasons, the fabric works well for both warmer and colder months!!
